Modi now alone in Rajasthan, Vasundhara make a distance

IPL Chairmen Lalit Modi now find alone in Rajasthan when Vasundhara make a proper distance from Modi in recent IPL raw. Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Friday distanced herself from beleaguered IPL Chairman Lalit Modi. “I have no relations with Mr Modi and I do not want comment on any issue related to him,” she told HT. Raje was reacting to Rajasth-an Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s allegations that she had allowed Modi to behave like “the de facto chief minister” during her 2003-08 regime. Earlier on Friday, Sandip Bhatra, a local NGO head, filed a case of fraud against Modi, his wife and eight others. Bhatra alleged Modi and his associates set up a bogus company and using forged documents, acquired havelis (old mansions) at Amer, on the outskirts of Jaipur, from an indulgent government at throwaway prices.
