PM leave today to attend the G20 summit

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will leave for Canada Friday to attend the G20 summit that will focus on economic recovery and global development led by India and China. Prime Minister will arrive in Toronto on 26th June for G20 summit where he will hold talks with his Canadian counterpart Stephen Harper and sign a bilateral civil nuclear cooperation agreement that would allow India to secure uranium, nuclear equipment and technology to meet its energy needs.
Dr. Singh’s delegation will include the Deputy-Chairmen of the Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon and Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao among others.
