Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) has enforced hike in its bus fare. ''The bus fare for different classes of RSRTC buses are being raised by 4 to 10 per cent with effect from midnight of June 28,'' a corporation spokesman said. While the minimum hike would be of four per cent, journey in Super Deluxe and AC coaches/Volvo would be costlier by 10 per cent, he said.
The state government had already given approval to the corporation's proposal for the hike about a fortnight ago. However, the decision was deferred in view of possibility of hike in price of petroleum products.
