Second ODI Today at Jaipur

Stage is all set for the second ODI between India and New Zealand at Jaipur on Wednesday. After defeating visitors in the first ODI at Guwahati by 40 runs, the new look Team India has been eying to stretch the lead in the five-match ODI series. After thumping victory in Guwahati ODI even in the absence of big names like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, MS Dhoni, Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh, Gautam Gambhir & Co. will not loose the noose in Jaipur. On the other hand, it will be a difficult task for Black Caps to push confident Indians in the second match. However, it is not less than suicide to predict in a cricket match. This will be first encounter between both teams at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Jaipur is one of the luckiest ground for Team India. India has played total 10 matches on this ground and managed to win six times. India has defeated South Africa, Pakistan, England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Australia while it faced defeat against England, Pakistan (two times), and South Africa here.
Sachin Tendulkar is most successful batsman here at Jaipur. He has scored 322 runs in seven ODIs, including one hundred and two fifties. After Sachin, skipper MS Dhoni is other batsman who loves to play here. Dhoni has scored 240 runs in four matches, which includes a huge hundred. However, Sachin and Dhoni are out of the action for first two ODIs.
