Mordia nominated Rajasthan Housing Board Chairman

Congress leader Parasram Mordia has been nominated as Chairman in the Rajasthan Housing Board while Anil Pareek will be the Chairman in the State Khadi and Gramodhyog Board. Likewise AICC member Mumtaz Masih has been nominated to head the State Public Grievances and Redressal Committee, an official spokesman said here last night. While former Minister Mr Mordia--who had also held the post of Working President in the ruling party state unit--has been accorded status and facilities on par to a Cabinet Minister Mr Pareek and Mr Masih would get rank and facilities of a Minister of State, the spokesman said.
Prior to this, Randeep Dhankar and Lad Kumari Jain have been made Chairperson in the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation(RTDC) and State Commission for Women respectively. Former MP and ex-Bharatpur royal Divya Singh and a police officer Habeeb Khan Gauran have been nominated as members to the Rajasthan Public Service Commission(RPSC). In this way, through political nominations Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tried to satisfy different communities/castes giving two posts each to incumbents from Jat and Minorities and one each from Dalit, Brahmin and Jain community. More political nominatins to various state government run boards, corporations and other bodies are expected to be made soon.
