Jaipur Marathon 2012 on January 22

Jaipur Marathon 2012 on January 22 will be organized under title sponsor of Ambuja Cement in association with the World Trade Park. The event, which will be managed by Marathon Events, will be in its third edition and aims to portray the varied atmosphere that exists in Jaipur with its vibrant colours and mixed culture. Jaipur Marathon is a race - a race that tests mettle, determination, fitness and more. Jaipur marathon provides people the opportunity to network with everybody - from commoners to celebrities and corporate czars. Jaipur Marathon is not only a race it is a Carnival which include lot's of events. During Jaipur Marathon Carnival there is something for everyone: - live music, competitions, treasure hunts, magnificent firework displays, numerous sporting events, and not forgetting one of the longest processions around on Marathon Day. Bollywood star Akshay Khanna and other will also run for cause and promote upcoming movie "Gali Gali main chor hai" during Jaipur Marathon 2012
The Carnival presents the cultural and ethnic diversity of Rajasthan. Hundreds of performers accompany colorfully decorated floats, and dance along the streets of Jaipur , celebrating the multicultural diversity of Rajasthan bands, sports clubs, schools, scouts, guides and other community groups to line the route, man stations and contribute to a carnival atmosphere. Jaipur Marathon includes events that connect everyone in spite of their economic status. Jaipur Marathon brings people from all walks of life like politicians, cine stars, social workers, runners, players and a layman together. It provides a common platform for the involvement of everybody for a cause.
