Akhilesh Yadav in Jaipur today

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Akhilesh Yadav will pay a brief visit to Jaipur tomorrow. Mr Yadav will arrive at the Sanganer airport around 1115 hrs and drive straightway to Amaroodo-Ka-Bagh here to participate in a public meeting-cum-felicitation programme, organised by the Samajwadi Party state unit. After a brief three-hour visit, Mr Yadav will fly back to Lucknow, a party spokesman said.  After opposing the constitutional amendment Bill for reservation in promotion during the winter session of Parliament, the Samajwadi Party is out to cash in on the issue.
It is expected that much Rajasthan's non-reserved category employees are set to honour Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav for rejecting the quota in promotions provision on Saturday. The employees' representative organisations, the Samta Andolan Samiti and the Mission-72, gave final touches to the preparations on Friday for the public assembly that Yadav is scheduled to address at Amroodon-ka-Bagh on Saturday morning. The UP chief minister is expected to land at Sanganer airport around 11:30 and proceed to the meeting venue.  Earlier, Samta president Parashar Narayan Sharma while speaking to a leading news agency said, “Akhilesh Yadav is country’s youngest chief minister and he is arriving on the National Youth Day that falls on Swami Vivekananda’s birthday on January 12 .At least 70 social organisations are supporting us for the event and hence huge gathering is expected to arrive,” said Sharma
