Professor Ratanlal (RL) Godara is appointed New vice-chancellor (VC) of Hemchandra Acharya North Gujarat University. He will replace Dr Hemaxi Rao whose was appointed vice-chancellor in September 2010. Prof. RL Godara belongs to a small village in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. Prof. RL Godara was the professor in the Department of Economics Administration and Financial Management in the University of Rajasthan situated at Jaipur. His name was finally cleared by Governor Dr Kamla from the panel of three names forwarded to her. He is a specialist in finance and marketing.
North Gujarat University encompasses four districts-Mehsana, Patan, Banaskantha and Sabarkantha. With a view to catering to the peculiar cultural and educational needs of the area, North Gujarat University was established in 198. The University has been functioning since then and growing and expanding steadily.
