Rajnath Singh may contest from Chittorgarh seat

BJP chief Rajnath Singh may contest from the Chittorgarh Seat of southern Rajasthan in the coming Lok Sabha elections 2014, shifting out of Ghaziabad and Lucknow as per media sources. The announcement is expected in coming days after feedback from Local leaders of Rajathan and Chittorgarh.  His move may also be interpreted as reflecting his uncertainty about his prospects in Ghaziabad where fledgling AAP has acquired strong pockets of influence. After huge controversy over lucknow seat now Rajnath singh might move out of Uttar Pradesh.
Rajnath singh could be nurturing the desire to prove himself from any safe seat in UP or Rajasthan. He had lost the Mahona Assembly seat in 1993, when the BSP and the SP had forged a pre-poll alliance. The BJP president presently represents Ghaziabad seat which is no more safe after popularity of Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in National Capital Region (NCR).
