CBSE announces to re-conduct AIPMT exam on 25th July in compliance of Supreme Court order to re-conduct All India Pre-Medical Exam and declaration of results by 17th August. The CBSE has announced the dates for re-conducting the AIPMT 2015 exam on 25th July. The test which initially took place on May 3, was quashed by the Supreme Court following large scale irregularities on June 15. It directed the CBSE to hold a fresh entrance test within four weeks. As the CBSE pleaded that it was not possible to re-conduct the exam within four weeks and a three months time be given, the court granted more time. However, it refused to give three months time and directed CBSE to re-conduct the Test and declare the results by August 17. Around 6.3 lakh candidates had registered for the exam at various centres across the country. A CBSE statement said that no fresh applications will be accepted for the re-test.
