The Met office has warned of heavy to very heavy rain in east Rajasthan in the next two days. According to the Met office, conditions are favourable and monsoon will reach the remaining parts of Rajasthan during the next 48 hours. Meanwhile, southwest monsoon has further advanced to most parts of east Rajasthan. Regional Met director SS Singh said heavy rains are expected in the next few days in the eastern part of the state.
The met office forecasts an overcast sky with possibility of rain on Tuesday. In Jaipur district Phulera reported 138 mm of rain till 8.30 am on Monday, while Sambhar received 100mm of rain. Narena 137 mm. On Monday, 19 mm of rain was reported in Jodhpur while Pilani and Phalodi reported 10 and 13.5 mm of rain respectively till 5.30 pm on Monday
