Non Resident Indians Conclave-2012 will be held in the Pink City here. Announcement to this effect was made by Union Minister for NRI Affairs Vyalar Ravi at the Non Resident Rajasthanis' meet in New York last night, an official release said here today. The dates for the Conclave will be finalised later on. Mr Ravi's announcement came in response to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's request for holding the meet in the desert state.
Mr Gehlot, who was also attending the meet in New York, in his address had requested the Union Minister to hold the NRI conclave in 2012 in Jaipur. The NRI Meet in 2010 will be held in New Delhi between January 7 and 9.
