More arrests likely in Ajmer Blast - Dhariwal

Rajasthan Home Minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal has hinted that there could be a few more arrests in the Ajmer Dargah blast case and disclosure of a few more big names in the coming days. He, however, denied that the investigations in the case were being influenced. Responding to the allegations against politicisation of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), he mentioned that the agency was functioning strictly on the basis of clues and information, which has come out during the course of investigation.
Dhariwal said that all proofs and records related to the case had been produced before the court and there was no question of the probe being influenced. "No one named in the probe would openly accept his involvement in the case," said Dhariwal. He also expressed satisfaction over law and order situation in the state. Significantly, last week senior RSS functionary Indresh Kumar had sent a legal notice to Dhariwal for his remarks against Kumar in the Ajmer dargah blast case. The notice, sent through his lawyer, stated that Dhariwal had misstated the facts about Kumar and was influencing the probe.
