DMRC Chief Sreedharan inspects Airport Metro line

Delhi Metro Chief E Sreedharan on Wednesday inspected the high-speed Airport Metro Express Line and expressed satisfaction about the operational preparedness of this line. He inspected the New Delhi-Shivaji Stadium- Airport and Dwarka Sec-21 Metro stations and oversaw the functioning of baggage-handling facilities, entrances of the stations and other interchange facilities. He was accompanied by Director of Delhi Airport Metro Express Private Limited K P Maheshwari and other officials from DMRC and DAMEPL. A metro official said, all efforts are being made to open this line this month after getting all the necessary statutory safety clearances.
