In recent accident at Kota 4 Engineering student died at Bhanwar Kunj, a spot near the Chambal river on the Kota-Rawatbhata route. Eleven students from Presidency Engineering College in Ranpur, came to Bhanwar Kunj for a picnic. The area is a favourite picnic spot because of a rain-fed rivulet which falls into the Chambal. Ignoring warning signs, six students got into the water.
Accident happen at bhanwarkunj drain on Kota-Rawatbhata road. 4 bodies are recovered in morning by district, administration officials and army divers. One of the witnesses said the students were holding hands but one of them slipped and the rest fell into the water and were swept away. Some student managed to come out of the water but the other four fall in water.
