Investigation committee on RPMT Exam 2209 by Rajasthan High Court

Rajasthan High Court on Friday directed the state government to form a three-member committee to investigate the matter and submit a preliminary report by September 16. Justice R S Rathore passed this order on a writ petition filed by a candidate, Jahabarmal, who alleged that a large number of students succeeded in getting admission to 15 medical colleges in the state by “recruiting” impersonators during the exams. As many as 750 students got selected in these medical colleges after results were declared on June 4 this year.
It was alleged by the petitioner that over 100 students have been admitted by adopting improper means by engaging professional writers for the examination. It was further brought to the notice of the court that there is provision of putting thumb impression on the OMR sheets at the time of filling up of the application for the entrance test as well as in the examination hall. The high court directed that the preliminary investigations should be completed by the committee and file the preliminary report on September 16. So now this committee result will decide the fate of many students either in +ve or -ve way, but if there will be any fraud, it will definitely raise the question on the Medical education system in rajasthan.
