Gehlot's work admired by New York Assembly

The New York State Assembly has honoured Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for voicing plight of poor and downtrodden and working for their welfare. The resolution adopted by the House and signed by Legislator David Y Vaiprin, also hailed Mr Gehlot, who is in the US for 3rd Non Resident Rajasthani meet, for leading Rajasthan Association of North America (RANA) for holding the meet, an official release said here today. Mr Thomas P Denapauli, Comptroller New York State, has also commended Mr Gehlot for his achievements attained while working on various posts, including of Chief Minister, Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Jodhpur, during past 25 years. New York State's Senator Dean G Skalaz also felicitated Mr Gehlot and presented him citation.
